Louis CHAVANT and Pr. Didier Fournier as supervisor. Subject : "Lectin cloning : Xerocomus Chrysenteron lectin codant gene research by PCR". Used technics  : Polymerase Chain Reaction, T/A cloning, production and purification of plasmid, cDNA synthesis and enzymatic modifications for RACE, DNA sequencing...

 
• Assymetric Organic Synthesis - From January to May 1999 (12 weeks) : first stage, in the context of DEA, carried out in the "Laboratoire de Synthèse et Physico-Chimie de Molecules d'Interets Biologiques" (laboratory about physical chemistry and synthesis of biological interest molecules), Dr. Yves GENISSON as supervisor, researcher in the CNRS

Subject : "A new (+)-goniofufurone synthetic pathway". Used technics  : Total synthesis, asymetric synthesis (epoxidation, aldolisation...), protection groups and specific removal...

• Physical Chemistry - Summer 1998 (10 weeks) : voluntary stage in a private laboratory about Quantification of dilute gases in electric isolant fluids (oils and pyralenes) using Gaz Chromatography, quantification of furanic derivates using High Performance Liquid Chromatography...

 Physical Chemistry - From April to June 1996 (11 weeks) : stage, in the context of DUT, carried out in a factory about production of siccatives and additives for painting. Subject : "Physical and chemical properties of siccatives and additives for painting : Quantification of traces of lead using 'flame absorption spectroscopy'".

Used technics  : Physical chemistry (density, rheology, boiling point...), "flame absorption spectroscopy"...
